Working the track
Turn a laid track into a training session you can understand: Knurrix supports the approach to the scent pad, the search and the review afterwards.
Confirm the dog and current conditions before the search. Approach mode helps you find the saved start without revealing the full track in advance.
Knurrix records a separate search path. Indicated and missed articles, plus observations at corners, stay attached to the session.
Afterwards, Knurrix overlays the search path and laid track. The configured line length is considered when estimating the dog’s position.
Frequently asked questions
No. Each search belongs to exactly one dog. Additional training attempts are recorded as separate searches.
A shared track does not have to reveal its route in advance, allowing realistic training or trial simulation.
Knurrix uses the selected line length as an offset from the handler’s GPS position. It is a transparent estimate, not centimetre-accurate measurement.
