Field observations matter, but they are not reliable measurements on their own. Knurrix publishes results only with a traceable setup, clear limitations and a firm distinction between raw data and analysis.
Before the first run, we define what is being tested and what the trial cannot answer. Records include the app and device versions, GPS source, terrain, weather, duration and number of repeats.
Original timestamps and positions are never rewritten to create a cleaner-looking result. Filters, stop-point cleanup and derived values are documented as a separate analysis. A single run is never presented as a universal conclusion.
Public reports contain only approved results that are sufficiently aggregated or anonymised. Private tracks, precise training locations, health records and support messages are never published.

Not yet. This page first establishes the required format for future field reports. Every result will have its own report covering conditions, sample size and limitations.
No. Mirrored tracks and support content remain internal. Any public example requires separate permission and must not reveal private locations or personal information.
Outliers, radio gaps and incomplete measurements are not removed silently. The report explains what is missing and how that affects the conclusion.
