Weather, ground & terrain

Take the guesswork out of training conditions.

Wind, moisture, ground and vegetation shape every track. Knurrix keeps these conditions beside the dog’s actual performance.

01

Two moments, two sets of conditions.

Knurrix records weather when the track is laid and again when it is worked, revealing changes during the ageing time.

  • Temperature and humidity
  • Wind speed and direction
  • Precipitation and further weather values
02

Describe the terrain precisely.

Surface and ground condition stay with the session. For each article, the exact surface at its position can also be recorded.

  • Field, grass, woodland and mixed terrain
  • Dry, damp and further conditions
  • Surface at the article
03

Turn experience into meaningful patterns.

Group results by conditions in the statistics. Knurrix presents your own evidence without turning it into universal claims.

  • Indication rate by weather class
  • Compare surface and condition
  • Make changing conditions visible

Frequently asked questions

Good to know.

Where do the weather values come from?

Knurrix stores location-based weather data as a snapshot for the session. It does not replace a weather station on the training ground.

Is weather recorded again for the search?

Yes. Laying and search conditions are stored separately because wind, temperature and rain can change while the track ages.

Does Knurrix label ground as good or bad?

No. The app documents conditions and compares them with your results. The handler remains responsible for the expert assessment.
